Law of Correspondence
Have you ever heard about the water experiment, by Dr. Emoto? He believed that water was a “blueprint for our reality”, being as the body is roughly 60 – 70% water, therefore he questioned what effect our outer environment could have on it.
He took two separate glasses of water and proceeded to expose one to positive energies and vibrations, while exposing the other to negative, whilst they both froze. These vibrations and energies included words, music, pictures, surroundings… for positive they were uplifting and motivating. For negative, angry, dark, and distressing.
Upon examination after freezing, the water took on very different structures. The water that had been exposed to the positive environment was beautiful…perfectly formed crystals, clear and beautiful water…basically something that Elsa from Frozen herself would have been proud of. What was interesting was the negative water. This was ugly… spikey ice crystals, cloudy water, and just generally ice that looked like it had been beaten down and had enough. Obviously, this is very much in a nutshell for you!
Stick with me, there is a reason for this!
This month we are looking at the universal law of correspondence, which states that what happens around us is a direct reflection of what happens inside us.
Now, if our external surroundings can have such a mad effect on who we are… doesn’t it stand to reason that the same could happen the other way around? The Law of Correspondence states that what happens around us is a direct reflection of what is happening within us. Which means that we have essentially developed what we have around us, from what is inside us.
We already know that everything is energy, and has a vibration. We know that to manifest what we want, we need to really feel it. Great. Brilliant. However, this can sometimes mean that we are simply going through the motions. You can’t out-manifest a bad mindset! We are what we feel, as well as our beliefs and how we react to the things that we expose ourselves to.
We can often find ourselves in a cycle of repeating the same mistake because until we learn from it, the universe will keep putting us in the same situation. Always attract toxic people into your life? Look at what it is that draws you to them and work on that. Can’t seem to progress at work? Look at what is stopping you and work on that, be it next level management (toxic people) or even your own mindset (belief in yourself, money mindset, etc).
Basically, as much as I hate to say it, this law comes with a certain amount of self-work. Sorry.
The great thing about manifestation and energies, is they are super easy to “top up”. Self-care and appreciation. That’s it! Simple.
Let me give you an example.
You have a proper rubbish day. Work sucked. You argued with your boss. You are stressed beyond belief and your workload is only getting heavier. You get home and grab a family-size box of Malteasers, a bottle of wine, and a straw. That’s dinner sorted. You crash onto the sofa and scroll through the channels, not finding anything, so you start scrolling through your phone and getting wound up with those perfect people on Instagram who all seem to “have their perfect little lives all worked out…why the hell can’t I be like that….screw them and their perfect freaking life” etc etc. (Zero judgement. We’ve all been there).
But look at your energy levels. You feel drained, angry, unmotivated… just generally hacked off!
Or…
You’ve had a proper rubbish day. Work sucked. You argued with your boss. You are stressed beyond belief and your workload is only getting heavier. But you are going home now. Where you are loved by your partner/children/fur babies. This eases it all a bit. You remember that you food shopped recently so you have loads of yummy food at home. You get home and pour yourself a glass of wine and put something scrummy in the oven. With dinner you pop on that reality show you really shouldn’t love but you do (Below Deck anyone??!!) and forget all about your day because you are home, surrounded by things you love, and everything else can wait.
Now check your energy levels. That warm, fuzzy feeling? That’s your energy levels increasing.
What's the difference between the two? Gratitude. Read them both again if you have to, but I promise it's there. The gratitude for what you already have is what will help to get you what you want. Being truly grateful will help to boost your energy levels and help to change your way of looking at things that you see every day. If we fear something, we give it energy and therefore make it our reality. Wouldn’t you rather give that energy to something you like instead?!

It’s a simple mindset shift. No special gimmicks or tricks. Just a mindset shift. Next time you find yourself thinking of the negative, flip it and see the positive. There will be one. And we have already done some flipping of the mindset already, so you will find all that in your members area. Give it a go, and notice how your mood changes and therefore your perception and reality. It's ace!
