Say it Loud, Say it Proud

Dream Out Loud Notebook.jpg

Something magical happens when you say something OUT LOUD.

I don't just mean saying what's on your mind, I mean deliberately, intentionally, and open-heartedly announcing something out loud.

Not asking, but telling the universe what will happen, what is happening, because you believe you can accomplish anything you set your mind and heart to. Now don't get me wrong, sometimes it feels super scary to say stuff out loud. Especially before it’s actually happened.

For most of my life, I have been a quiet, think in my own head, 'write in my wishes and dreams notepad' type of person. Being a positive thinker, a 'write it into existence' person is good. It's great even. But I'm telling you there is so much power and transformation behind saying it out loud.

Let me tell you three things that happened this week that demonstrate what I’m trying to say.

  1. I was working with a client 1:1 on her business. We were talking through some goals she had for an upcoming project. When it got to quantifying the goal I could feel her resistance to saying an actual number - like a wave of, “I don't want to say something and then set myself up to fail”. Such a common feeling. Even though I can totally relate to this feeling I gently pushed her to say her goal number out loud. To literally call it in. A few days ago, I got a message on my phone... “I'm still a week away from my launch date and I've already achieved my goal number.” Whoop!

  2. On my daily walk, I often talk out loud. It’s early and I just have to hope no one else is on the streets as I walk around with my hand on my heart making crazy-sounding statements. On one particular day this week, I thanked the universe out loud and in advance for all the opportunities I have to earn well and for the steady stream of income I receive daily. (FYI I definitely do not get paid every day, I was just… calling in my financial security). That same day £1000 cash got paid into a business bank account.

  3. Then, when I was scrolling Instagram, I randomly came across a clip from an old Ellen Degeneres show. This clip showed Jennifer Aniston telling the audience how she was taught to Manifest. Jennifer stands up, faces the live audience, and says “this is how I was taught to manifest. Whatever it is you want to happen for yourself, you say OUT LOUD. Thank you universe for xxxxx, thank you for the opportunity. Thank you for this incredible xxxxxxx - and it works” (I've paraphrased this but you get the message here - right?)

It suddenly occurred to me, if one of the most famous women on the planet can stand up on live TV and admit to manifesting her acting career by saying what she wanted out loud. Surely we should all be doing, talking, sharing about this more?

So with that in mind, here are 3 pointers to get you started.

  1. Say out loud exactly what you want, be very specific and be intentional.

  2. Say it out loud with gratitude as if it’s already happened/happening.

  3. Laugh, smile, feel good, feel the joy of it as you say it.

I cannot wait to see what you CALL IN. Make sure you update me! Remember It’s all up to you to #makeithappen.
