The Feeling Place

This month’s mindset focus, ‘the Feeling Place’ refers to your focus on the emotions that underpin any desire.

TASK:

To do this process,

  1. Identify what it is that you want but are feeling stressed or “lack” about.

  2. Then, ask yourself why you want that desire. The answer is always an emotion or feeling: what feeling does that desire get for you?

EXAMPLE:
I want to create more financial freedom in my life

Why? - What feeling does this give me? - Joy, freedom, success, ease, pleasure, happiness, satisfaction. And so on and so on….

Why this works:

If you can identify the underlying feelings, you can begin to transform your desire from wanting a specific object, to wanting to feel what the object gets for you.

This is a much easier state to attain because you can attain it instantly. Then, shift your focus to that energy, rather than the absence of the things you want most.
